To browse images from a memories
disc
You can browse images on a computer (with a compatible browser)
or on a compatible DVD player . You can
also Play a photo show from a memories disc.
On a computer
- Insert the memories disc in your CD drive.
On most Windows PCs, the home page for the memories disc opens automatically
after a few seconds. If the home page does not open automatically,
find and open the file HOMEPAGE.HTM in the root directory of the memories
disc.
- When the menu appears, click Browse Images.
- Use the following methods for viewing images:
- Click on any thumbnail for a full screen preview. Press the spacebar
to close the preview.
- Use the thumbnail counter (7-12>)
to display the next (or previous) page of thumbnails.
On a compatible DVD player
- Turn on the television and set it to your DVD player.
- Insert the memories disc in your DVD player.
- When the following menu appears, press two (2) on your remote control.
If you do not press 2, the photo show starts automatically after a short
pause. On some remote controls, you must press Enter on the remote control
after pressing 1.
- Use the following controls to find and view images:
From an index (thumbnail) page
- Press an index number to display the corresponding image in full-screen
preview.
- Press Prev (skip backward) button to view the previous index page.
- Press Next (skip forward) button to view the next index page.
- Press Return to go back one level.
From a full-screen preview of an image
- Press Prev (skip backward) button to view the previous image (from
the current index page).
- Press Next (skip forward) button to view the next image (from the
current index page).
- Press Return to view the current index page.
- Press Return to go back one level.
Important
DVD remote control devices vary widely and are primarily intended for
DVD use. An HP memories disc uses only a few of the DVD controls. In particular,
the left and right arrow keys are used for DVDs only and perform no function
with a memories disc. You may need to experiment with your remote control
to determine the exact buttons to use.
